Sohei Saikawa

　At last blog, I would like to tell you about Sohei Saikawa. He appears in the novel by Hiroshi Mori. He is associate professor of N college. He is major in architecture. He find out the truths of a murder case behind locked doors with his partner, Moe Nishinosono, who are taught by him. His notion is very objective and logical. I read the novel for the first time the other day. I was confused with what he said first, but I got to be into it as I was reading it. It is true that what he said is very difficult to understand, but we would get to like him as reading the novels. I haven’t read yet the novels by Hiroshi Mori which is different series in which he appear, so I want to read them once soon.

Yusuke Urameshi

I would like to tell you about Urameshi Yusuke. He appears the comic by Keita Togashi, ”Yuyu Hakusyo”. He is not like the detectives I introduced before. He is called “a detective of the spiritual world”. His work is to repulse ghosts which rampage in the human world. He is a juvenile delinquent, but he is very kind and always attentive to his friends.
He fought a lot of enemies. He has a deadly skill. It is Reigun. When he does it, he consents spiritual power on his fore finger and shot it. Though he has a lot of skill, he usually repulsed enemies with the skill. Especially, I was so excited when he repulsed Toguro with it, who had tremendous muscle and was a famous enemy in the comic.
If you haven’t read this comic, I recommend it very strongly.

Ellery Queen

I would like to tell you about Ellery Queen. He is American, who appears the novels by Ellery Queen. He is 6 feet and black hair. He always wears glasses. He is a writer by profession, but he always investigates murders, helping his father, who is a cop. He is so intelligent that he studied in Harvard University. Therefore, he solves the cases by making a good use of his brain.
I read his novel, “The Tragedy of X” when I was a student of junior high school. It is little difficult for me then, but I was very excited at it. Other masterpieces of the novels are the series of countries. These novels have ingenious tricks, so a lot of people like them all over the world. I want you to read one of them once.

Hercule Poirot

　 I would tell you about Hercule Poirot. He is one of the most famous detectives in the world. He appears the novels by Agatha Christie. He is small and fat like a egg, and wears mustache. He is very gentle and smart. He finds criminals out by analyzing their psychology. It is not until he deduces the cases that he tells the truths, so those around him are always irritated.
I have read the novel where he appears, “Murder on the Orient Express”. It is masterpiece by Agatha Christie. In the novel, he found the truth which we couldn’t solve at first sight. I was very excited, so I do recommend it. I want to read more novels where he appears.

Manabu Yukawa

　I would like to tell you about Manabu Yukawa. He appears at the novels by Keigo Higashino. He is a professor of Teito University and his majoring is physics. He is genius for physics, so he solves a lot of incidents, making good use of the knowledge. Therefore, he is called “Galileo” by detectives.
　This series was dramatized whose leading actor was Masaharu Hukuyama. I think most of you may watch it. Yukawa, who was played by him, is very intelligent and cool and smart. I surely used to watch the drama every week and be excited. The drama is different from the novel in a few respects, but both are very interesting. If you have not watched the drama or read the novel, go to a DVD rental shop or a bookstore soon!

Spencer

I would like to tell you about Spencer. He is the private detective of the novel by Robert Brown Parker. He is tall and strong, and trains hard every day. Before he is a detective, he was a public prosecutor. However, he opposed to his boss, so he had no choice to resign from it. Tough he is a very tough guy, he likes to read papers, appreciate sculptures, and listen to jazz. When you read his novel for the first time, you wil have a difficulty in going on reading. Yet you go on reading it, you will get to like him and the story of his novel. By the way, his TV drama was made. I want to watch it soon.

Hazime Kindaichi

I would like to tell you about Hazime Kindaichi. He is a main character of the comics by Seimaru Amagi, Youzaburou Kanari, Humiya Sato, “Kinndaiti syounen no Zikenbo”. He is a student at Hudo private junior high school. He is so poor at study and sports that he almost remained in the same grade, but he has a great talent as a detective. It is because his IQ is 180, and his grandfather is Kousuke Kindaiti, which is a famous detective. Wherever he goes to with his partner, Miyuki Nanase, he is faced with a serial murder. Then he always stays calm and finds out the murderer.
When I read this comics and drama for the first time in private school, I was terrified at them. But now it is one of the best comics I like.
There are words he always says; Zittyan no nanikakete, Nazo ha subete toketa.
